1. Do you feel full of the joys of spring at work? Or something along those lines?
2. Are  you a last minute deadline junkie? Have you ever had to apologise for turning in your assignments later than you were supposed to? Do you feel you spend too much time in the research phase?
3. When you have to show a new colleague the ropes, what bits and pieces do you prioritise?
4. In every workplace there is technical jargon. What survival phrases would a newcomer have to learn to be able to work at your workplace?
5. Do people ever have to express themselves in an inexact way at your workplace? Do people have to resort to expressions like "and things like that", "and stuff like that", "give or take", "thingy", "whatsisname", "whatsit", or words to that effect? Which expressions do you find irritating and consequently have a beef about? Do you sometimes have to say "hang on a minute" because you can't recall a word or expression?
6. What responsibilities does an editor-in-chief at a newspaper have?
7. Have you ever managed to be promoted? What evidence of your capabilities did you need to show?
8. What characterises a keen workmate?
9. Do your colleagues show understanding for the new employees who are still finding their feet?
10. How long did it take you to finally get the hang of your current job? Did your boss touch base with you from time to time?
