glare: to look at somebody/something in an angry way. E.g. He didn't shout, he just glared at me silently.
bitch (about somebody/something) to make unkind and critical remarks about somebody/something, especially when they are not there. Sp. quejarse. E.g. She isn’t the sort of person who bitches about others behind their back.
suck it up (informal) to accept something bad and deal with it well, controlling your emotions. Sp. aguantarse. E.g. I know you don't want to sit next to her, but you'll just have to suck it up and try to make conversation!
sass: (informal) behaviour or talk that is rude and does not show respect. Sp. descaro, insolencia. E.g. Don’t give me any of your sass! The teacher doesn't take any sass from anybody.
get your head out of your ass: (informal) start paying more attention to others and to what's going on around you. (To have your head in your ass means to ignore problems around you, usually by not seeing or not wanting to see them as a result of arrogance).E.g. Get your head out of your ass, and start paying more attention!

a way of addressing or talking about a doctor. E.g. What did the doc say? Will I be OK, Doc?

grouchy: /ˈɡraʊtʃi/ (informal) easily annoyed and often complaining. Sp. malhumorado. E.g. Amanda's a grouchy person, but she has a good heart.
